Brochures are not for everyone...
Brochures are important if you need a convenient piece to explain your services in detail. If you don't have a lot to say or just want to target something in general, a Rackcard or Postcard may be better suited to you.
We know what papers to suggest to create a quality look on any budget, there are many to choose from.
If you plan on mailing your brochure, we can recommend a paper that will stand up to the potential damage done during the mailing process.
Our design team can also listen to your concepts and ideas, and help you create an attention-grabbing promotion piece. We can then print a one-, two-, or four-color brochure.
Many sizes and special effects are available. Stop by anytime for samples.

There are a few alternatives for glossy paper and brochures: 32# for digitally printed and/or rush jobs. This paper is bright white and coated on both sides. The weight is typical of standard glossy flyers and brochures. Toner printing on this paper will cover up the gloss and leave more of a satin finish. 80#gloss text (similar to 32#)t or 100 gloss #text(a bit thicker), both for offset printed jobs. This paper is bright white and coated on both sides. This paper is used for the bigger print jobs. 80#gloss cardstock is bright white and coated on both sides. It is available for rush jobs.
We offer a recycled alternative to our Standard Paper. It is pretty much the same in every aspect, except a little bit duller white. There are also colored, textured and patterned Recycled Papers available (which fall under the "Special Paper" category).
All other paper falls into this category - Colored, Textured, Patterned, Special Order, Customer Supplied, etc. We stock many varieties. If we need to special order a paper, you may be required to fullfil a certain minimum quantity.
Our standard paper for this product is 28# paper, bright-white, smooth finish.
Our 20# paper is regular white copy paper. It is the lightest and least expensive paper we offer. We also offer 20# paper in pastel colors. There are a couple alternatives for regular cardstock: 60# cardstock, bright white, smooth finish. This is a very nice paper for brochures - a little bit lighter than regular 80# cardstock. 80# cardstock, bright white, smooth finish. Click on GLOSSY for glossy cardstock. |
BLACK PRINTING1-COLOR or 2-COLOR PRINTINGFULL COLOR PRINTINGSINGLE-SIDED or DOUBLE-SIDEDBLEED or NO BLEEDGLOSSY FINISH |
The most basic and least expensive printing option is black ink on white paper. For a little bit more, you can spruce up your black printing with colored and/or textured paper. Black-N-White printing does not mean cheap or dull and boring...with good design, it can be amazing.
Bleed is an industry term that most simply means "printing all the way to the edge of the finished piece". Or in other words, "no white margins along the edge of the finished piece". Bleed doesn't imply better, it's simply another choice. Bleed is usually more expensive than No Bleed.
Clients often request a "glossy" finish, but glossy can be subjective: Glossy Paper - Glossy paper may produce a glossy finished piece, but not necessarily. It will depend on the print medium and process. Be sure to ask if this is an important aspect of your project. Most toner-based printing, for example, will "cover up" the glossy finish of the paper and therefore produce more of a "satin" finish. Glossy Print - When printing with ink on a glossy paper, the finished piece will often have a glossy sheen to it, without any special coating. Glossy Coating - For a truly glossy finish, request UV Coating, Aqueous Coating, or Lamination. These are special processes that often affect production times and often require higher minimum quantities 1-Color and 2-Color printing (also referred to as Spot Color) is usually less expensive than Full Color, but you may be limited to certain "standard" colors like "Reflex Blue" or "Red 485". Or you may have to pay extra for specific ink colors (often refered to as Pantone or PMS Colors). This option may be the only way to go for exact color matching of certain colors from job to job.
Full Color Printing is the preferred printing option. Full color definitely attracts attention and usually looks the best. But it is also the most expensive. This option is most cost effective with larger quantities.
You can print on one side or both sides of this product. You can mix-n-match printing options and bleed options between sides. Some Finishes and Special Effects are not available for both sides. For example, Thermography and Embossing can only be applied to one side of a Double-Sided product. Double-Sided Printing will cost more than Single-Sided Printing

For a truly shiney finish to the whole piece, consider UV Coating, Aqueous Coating, or Lamination. Each provide some level of water resistance but lamination also provides tear resistance. From a unique corner shape to an all-out, one-of-a-kind shape, use a custom die to cut your piece into any shape you want. Looking for a unique and classy way to spice up your printing? Consider adding a foil-stamped line, logo, or other design element. Gold, silver, and a variety of other colors are available. We can help you choose the right foil or combination of foils as well as the right placement to give your piece the perfect feel. Add a little something different to your printed materials with rounded corners. Round 1, 2 or all 4 corners. If you are looking for something to make certain colors, graphics or a logo really stand out, Spot UV is the way to go. UV Coating is a shiney coating. Spot UV is a shiney coating applied to only certaing "spots" of the piece. This presents an amazing contrast to the rest of the piece. Silk Lamination gives a unique "silky" feel and texture to a printed piece. It portrays class, elegance, style and sophistication. Lamination provides water resistance and tear resistance. Take your printed material to the third dimension...literally. Raised printing (Thermography) on a flat piece of paper gives your printed projects depth and touchability. Who can resist running their fingers across a raised image.
Add texture and interest to your piece with an Embossed logo or image. Embossed means raised up. Debossed (the opposite of Embossed) means sunkin in. An image can be embossed with print or foil or it can be left blank (Blind Embossed). |
